So, here it is. My secret project. I have been working on this for the past year. I really wanted to do something nice for my bridesmaids, Jr. bridesmaid, and flower girl. So, I figured I should put all of that roving to use and I got to spinning....and knitting.
For the little ones I made scarfs that I call my "Alice In Wonderland Collection." The first I have posted about before. But, I added more spirals. I really love this one! I spun the yarn, knitted it, and then felted it in the washer. After the felting process was complete, I needle felted mushrooms and a spiral design on. This one was so much fun to make!
The second scarf from my "Alice In Wonderland Collection" was for my flower girl. I think this one has a bit of Cheshire Cat appeal to it. I added fabric yo-yo's, buttons, and a little bit of wool felt to make flowers on the ends of this scarf.
This one I love. It is for my maid of honor, my sister. The colors reminded me of her. This is one drapes around the neck. The felt flower is a pin to hold the wrap in place. This yarn is so soft! I really enjoyed the way this one came together.
This one is for the "Best Man", yep, the best man is really a "best woman." I love this scarf too! Again, I spun the yarn and then added buttons on the side. This one is really really warm! I spun it with my "Black Raspberry" yarn that I created. The buttons I got from Jo-Ann's.
This scarf I made for a Bridesmaid. I spun glass beads into this yarn. It knitted up so nicely! It is very delicate which suits this bridesmaid to a tea!
I place the scarfs in monogrammed tote bags with each of their initials. To place in the tote bags I also made citrus basil soap...
and lemongrass bath salts.
So, that is phase one of my secret project. There are 2 more phases that will be revealed this week!
I had the most lovely Bridesmaid luncheon today that my Aunt threw. I forgot my camera! Can you believe it? Once I get pictures emailed to me I will post them asap!
Only one more week!
Cheers!

These are so beautiful - what a lucky bridal party! I can't decide on my favourite - the beads knitted in are gorgeous, and I love the colour of the one for your sister. Such unique gifts!
Those scarfs are gorgeous. What wonderful gifts~
Thank you for your nice comments! I had so much fun making them and am very happy with the way they all turned out. :-)
Wow, you certainly are a Jane of all trades! How kind of you to thank the important people in your life in such a crafty way. I really love the swirly mushroom one. It reminds me of a walk through my gnome garden.
